Harmony T&A - Clocking in and out
Harmony’s Time and Attendance (TnA) module offers several flexible options for employees and managers to clock in and out. This article explains the different methods available and how clock entries are handled within the system.
1. Manual Clocking via Dashboard or Top Menu
Employees can manually clock in and out directly within Harmony:
Navigate to the Dashboard or use the top menu.
Click Clock In and select the appropriate project or task.
When needed, the employee can:
Clock Out
Switch project/task
Take a break
This method is commonly used when working remotely or without physical terminals.
📌 Note: A user account needs to be created in Harmony for employees to use this method. Please refer to this article: Harmony - Security - How to Create Security Groups and User Accounts
2. Clocking via Terminal
If your company has set up physical terminals, employees assigned to a terminal can clock in/out using a PIN.
Enter the assigned PIN at the terminal.
Choose the project/task to clock in for.
To clock out, switch tasks, or take a break, re-enter the PIN and follow the prompts.
📌 Note: Terminals must be pre-configured, and employees must be assigned to a terminal in their profile. Please refer to this article: Harmony T&A - Terminals
3. Manual Entry of Clock Records
Managers or authorized employees can create manual clock entries:
Navigate to Clock Entries > Pending.
Click + New to add a manual entry.
